Le Berre (the author for those that weren't paying attention to that) has a lot of passion for the species and it shows in his writing. Highly recommended as an introduction to the species as a pet, or in general.

This was a great little book giving some interesting facts, however I did not finish the book as my girlfriend's poor little chameleon died after like a month--some kind of eye infection or probably her three cats stressing his tiny lizard nerves or the possibility he was going to get deported back to Yemen. It was pretty sad though. We had named him Tejas, (get it?) So, hopefully you will have more success than me or this book will end up on the back of your toilet for guests to browse through as will my copy.

But authors designed the material by assuming 'every reader can afford 7$ per hour for our labs', this destroys the overall quality.Since you're a new-learner for some advanced stuff, you need to do it on the lab. First, you pay 35$ (yes there is minimum credit requirement for 5 credits for your first order(!)) but for example when you're stuck in an example and can't finish your experiment, you kind of waste your very expensive credits. The feeling that you are missing something is bad because you know you can't afford (7$ per hour, really!) till all things are clear!Also there isn't any 'pause your session' option for your lab sessions. If you start, you must finish it! This is ridiculous...I want to be optimistic about labs; yeah, there are fees for servers and bandwidth, but I think, if their plan is teaching good rather than making more money, they could provide all the ASP.NET source codes and problem solutions for the labs on their site, but it isn't.As a result; give it a chance, it has some great content in it but this lab things will make you nervous.

First off, one of the authors of the book is the person who made burpsuite. It becomes quite clear you actually need to purchase burpsuite pro if you want to follow all of the hack steps in the book or understand a lot of the things they are talking about that aren't shown in the burpsuite free edition. The real problem for me is that it leads you to their lab which you have to pay $7 an hour for 1 hour increments. You have to take that full increment each time you want to practice. You can't stop your time so you have to take that full hour. You can imagine how quickly that would add up. Not a big deal if you read all the chapter and then try it out. Problem is when you are doing the hack steps there isn't a defined answer key for it. For example:Step 1. Locate all instances within the application where hidden form fields, cookies, and URL parameters are apparently being used to transmit data via the client.Step 2. Attempt to determine or guess the role that the item plays in the a application's logic, based on the context in which it appears and on clues such as the parameter's name.Step 3. Modify the item's value in ways that are .... and so on.Ok. So I THINK I found what I was looking for but I'm not 100% sure. How do I find the answers to make sure. ??????So the BIGGEST problem for me with each of these "hack steps" is that there isn't an answer key. They should have something like "You should have found on this page by performing these steps. Maybe something on the lab site to show you or pictures or something. Nothing is found for this for their labs. Showing an automated slide of them performing it would of helped.So once you hit chapter 4 you better buckle up because like another reviewer said it gets C.I.P.U. (clear if previously understood) real quick. Great book for intermediate-advanced people with webapp/security experience. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for beginners. I am still going through it but I thought the labs were really discouraging. The material is great and very relevant though. I think the labs could of done a lot better in my opinion.

I can't even tell you how many times I find myself referencing this book. Despite what some have suggested you don't need to have Burp Suite or do any labs. It's so full of insightful knowledge that it can replace a whole reference library all by itself. It doesn't just show you "how-tos" but helps you THINK differently - better - methodical. One little example is how the authors present the idea of overcoming filtering deployed by a WAF or web server. "

This coloring book is highly disappointing. You get a lot of black background photos, giving most of the pages less than half of colorable space. You also get a LOT of repeating images (how many images of the girls in their dresses do we need?!) A lot of patterned backgrounds or words you can barely make out. Not impressed with this at all. Also, none of their parents are in the book. No Maleficent, no Jafar, no Beast, etc. For the money, I would pass on this. Also, Mal's signature spray paint tag, not even in here. Would have made an awesome picture to color...

Well illustrated coloring book. Lots, of quality pages on quality paper. Don't buy the knockoff, it's cheaper but terrible. Go with this one. My kiddo is going to love it.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter excited to finally find a descendent coloring book. Unfortunately, this was a little too advanced for her. This is more for teenagers or adults that can color. I wish there were more pages of the characters. Some of the pages were just designs. But overall it is a nice coloring book that I took over from my daughter.

Bought this for my daughter's 10th birthday. She absolutely loved it. She probably spent 15 minutes going through each page telling me which character was in the picture and what scene the outfit was from. I loved that some of the pages were just Descendants themed patterns.

Gift for my daughter for Xmas. She loves the descendants show and is a big coloring fan. The pictures in the book are fantastic and I think she will be really excited about it.

However not for the blind American Exceptionalism fanatic who does not accept economic facts that takes the patriotism edge off the historic inculcation of our society (probably the reason there are few modern versions of this work). The study is strictly about economic considerations of the "founding fathers" (state by state and wealth by wealth, debtors and creditors) who needed to shore up the safety of their wealth and power. Explains how the Constitutional Convention came about (without an effective delegate process), how the economic structures were involved (personalty/real estate ; farmers; manufacturers; trades; etc.). My opinion: should be history classes in upper high school especially in AP History. After reading this I understand why certain states are attacking AP history to censor knowledge. I am an 8 year USN, Viet Nam era veteran. I love my country. But I also know that the suppression of historical fact disables any ability to solve current and future problems. Loved this OLD book.

The book itself is an intriguing look at the Constitution as well as the early 20th century view of the body politic. It's a shame that the Kindle edition reviewed here was such a poor copy. Do not go Kindle with this one. People buying a paper-back copy had a much easier time reading the material and understanding the footnotes. Something lost in the Kindle edition which placed the footnotes in the same size font and without line break to distinguish this information from the text. An important, controversial work of economic history - an important addition to any historian's library. Just not this edition.

I first reviewed the book thirty-five years ago when when I was completing my undergrad degree in Business Administration. Two years later I completed my Grad (Masters) degree in Economics, but because of my constant moving around I lost track of the book. However, I could not forget the impression I got from my initial review of how the architects of the U S Constitution was comprised of the Rich, Powerful, and Educated class (and some slave owners) all of whom had a personal interest as to how theU S Government was to be formed, and managed. With the exception of Slave owners, nothing has changed. If it were not for the right to vote, the common citizens (not rich, powerful, or well educated) are just pawns on the Chess Board of our society. Thank God there are no Slave Owners (?). Maybe after I finish reading the book from cover to cover for the second time I may have a different point of view, but I don't think so. Charles A Beard has made some interesting revelations. Maybe, if more Americans would review this book, they would have a better understanding of how our government works or at least who runs it.Herbert J Bailey

A wonderful economic treatise on the underlying motives of the founding fathers and politics of colonial times. Should be a reference guide to high school classes on political science!

I'm not sure this is the edition of Beard's book that I bought.It was a little tedious when he goes through the details man by man, but it is the detail that makes this worth reading. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the Constitution. He supports his theory with considerable documentation. I had no idea that so many people were against ratifying the Constitution.

This is a excellent book to consider if you desire to have a greater knowledge of the details of the members, at least those who were allowed to participate, at the Continental Congress.All of the information is cited and well presented. It is also extremely topical today as the debates still rage over what the Founding Fathers truly intended for our Republic.Many Conservatives and Libertarians mistakenly reference this book as the reason for the the dominance of free market economics in our politics but the book clearly refutes that premise and instead clearly presents the historical reality of how special interests, as described by Mr. Beard as the holders of scripts, or debt as we now call it, and their efforts suppress the will and efforts of the free holders, or the subsidence farmers, of any real influence at the Convention and the individual state elections to ratify the proposed Constitution.It is also a well established fact that these very same men wanted to shape a English style parliamentary style government here in the colonies, that would prevent any sudden or rapid changes ignited by the people to occur.Fast forward to today and if you care about our country, no matter what your political beliefs or delusions are, you should read this book and hopefully experience a reality check.As Mark Twain once said 146 years ago "These lobbyists are called our invisible government in Washington, with headquarters on Wall Street. The rich corporations have to be shielded and protected in the Congress, and this requires vast sums of money to keep their political party in power. And they understand that the members of Congress did not get elected to serve their country for nothing. There are a lot of poor people in the Congress, every Congress, and they need looking after. They’re an expensive lot."It painfully clearly that frame work of this system occurred at the inception of our country, a frame work driven by self interests. It is also clear that the US Constitution is not written to only benefit the rich and powerful but it is how they, the special interests, interpreted it and ultimately manipulate us, the electorate, to accept.As much now as back then we must all stand for liberty and justice if we are truly to reach a more perfect union, but we must not accept that the needs of few never outweigh the needs of the many.Or consider this.John Adams once said this' “I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is a disgrace, that two become a lawfirm, and that three or more become a congress.”
