This book is old and the readings in it reflect its age. The concepts are good, I would not read it for preasure.

This book has decent articles relating to pop culture topics - good for references with a brief description of terms/topics.
Ray Browne is an important figure in popular culture, so the book deserves some attention. There are many topics covered, which is good. The downside is some topics are not covered in enough depth to make sense of importance or how to write popular culture pieces.It does make a good textbook because of the price, though.
The product was in perfect condition as described and was delivered within days...which was perfect since I forgot and ordered my book the week before class started.
