These are some of David Lana earlier, popular piano compositions. If you are unfamiliar, I recommend buying his CD. The music is a more advanced level. But there is an easy book of his for intermediate level, as well. (It will say "Easy" on the cover.) I'm hoping his "Movements of the Heart" will also come available.
I love David Lanz's music, he has the best piano music out there, these are a joy to play.

I really like the sound of these although I have not played through the entire book yet. There are a couple of really nice, beautiful pieces in here that I am going to put on my "to play someday" list when I have nothing but time on my hands. I like these better than the pieces in the George Winston book. Nothing personal, well I guess it is personal preference.
Not much in terms of a review to add. I'm just a beginner, and, well, the notes look right :) But I would like to add a list of songs featured, as Amazon has left that out of the description...This book features the songs:Behind the Waterfall, Courage of the Wind, Cristofori's Dream, Dream Field, Faces of the Forest, Farewell Amparo, Heartsounds, Leaves on the Seine, Nightfall, Song for Monet, Spiral Dance, Summer's Child, Valencia
I only liked a few of the pieces in this book.
Excellent!
No one plays like David and I cannot see any comparison with other pianists. To listen to his music sets your mind into the clouds, waiting for the next phrase of the music. I bought the piano book so that I could play, not like him, but something along the lines. The book only arrived yesterday, first delivery in the New Year and I am yet to start playing his pieces. Would recommend the song book for anyone who likes New Age Music.
