I was expecting instructions on using these shamanic tools. This is just a collection of anecdotes, nearly all of which end with the client joining his shamanic healing school. For those of us who can't afford over $12,000 for that training, we'd appreciate some things we can do ourselves. These are inspiring stories, but nothing more.
This is only a series of "client cases" which basically reads: "She had this problem, I worked my wonders and things improved." There is simply not much to be learned from the book. It does not explain what we can do to heal ourselves or others, it explains nothing of the processes used. I have read various of Villoldo's books and might recommend them. I did not find this book to be worth the read.
I found a bit of useful information in this book. It rambles at times, and many of the chapters begin with filler anecdotes that do not contain anything beneficial.
Enjoyed the whole book, some skepticism but know instinctively that all is real.Recommended to a friend haven’t talked to her about.Been told by two psychics that someone has stole my karma and is attached to me somehow. Both wanted to do some magic. Can’t seem to bring myself to doing it. Studying shamanism thru a website, trying to wrap my mind around magic. Wish me luck!
