I received one of these Hugs, Devotionals for Women from a friend. I am not really into "in depth & preachie kinds of books", but this was so uplifting and down to earth help for women just coping in life in general. Since getting mine, I have ordered 5 additional ones for friends. I love the book.
Wish it could give u an example of what comes in it, I’m not religious and it has a lot of biblical verses, it doesn’t bother me but not what I was looking for, however it does give u good inspirational advice, mainly for spiritual people.
Bought this for a friend! Truly inspirational from women you know and those you will meet! Non-denominational...and truly a joy...begins my day!
Ive given this book as gifts to many of my friends. They have told me how encouraging the words are. Even several of the husbands confessed that they have been encouraged by the book as well.
I'm normally not into these schmaltzy sort of books, but after receiving this as a gift, I have to say I really love this. I got the Kindle version so I can keep it with me to read on-the-go. The daily messages often apply, and I even use them in team emails at work on occasion.
Have bought many of these for friends' birthdays with a bookmark for their special day. All have loved them. Nice smaller size as well. Will most likely purchase more. Would highly recommend.
This is a wonderful little book. Filled with inspiration, It is biblically based, short one page stores and it is very uplifting and easy to read. I am glad i bought it.
I have the original Hugs Devotional and have read it for many years. I decided to get this version and the bits of wisdom are always right on time.
