I was excited reading through the first 2/3rds of the book. Lazara gave excellent information about the hows and whys, in addition to what you should expect from your body during the transition period. The recipe section is well-organized and provides excellent instructions and nutrition information. Ready to roll - right? Not so fast..... the 14 day meal plan includes none of the recipes included and suggests things like "bullet-proof coffee" and a "ChocoPerfect Bar", as well as, Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. None of those things are mentioned anywhere in the book, nor is there any reference section that might suggest where to learn more. Based on what I read in the book most homemade vanilla ice cream isn't going to reach the standards set in this book for beginners!A superb informational text, but it fails miserably where the rubber should hit the road.
Nothing earth shattering but I bought it primarily to check out the info on Keto Dieting and to decide if it was for me.
